Annotations for Web Content Creation

My posters capture my passion for travel and what it specifically means to me. They focus on three key aspects; exploring the world, spending time with family and learning about different cultures. I chose London, Barcelona, and Paris to present these themes. For London, I emphasised its vibrant energy by editing photos of the Shard and London Eye together to demonstrate the city’s bustling atmosphere. To me, Barcelona symbolises family, shown through the images of the beach and family being together. To represent culture, I chose Paris and the Louvre, emphasising art as it is home to the world’s most renowned gallery.

My inspiration:

I took inspiration from these artsy, cartoon-like travel posters. I created my own in a unique, monochromatic style. I adjusted the image threshold to remove colour and combined multiple photos to create the final results. The bold monochromatic palette enhances structural details and directs focus to key elements without overwhelming the viewer. Originally, the coloured versions felt chaotic, but the black-and-white approach simplified the visuals, making them more focused and striking. This allowed me to convey the essence of each city while creating visually impactful posters that show my connection to travel.
